As the leading, privately held U.S. manufacturer of innovative high-performance flexible circuit boards, we are dedicated to the design, production, and assembly of advanced printed circuit board assembly (PCBAs) technology solutions.We develop cutting-edge solutions that explore new frontiers, serve and protect our armed forces and allies, safeguard national security against evolving threats, and propel advancements in hypersonic technology.Our customers include some of the largest aerospace and defense companies like RTX, Lockheed Martin, GE Aerospace, NASA, JPL, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing.The Soldering Operator within our Assembly department performs a wide variety of soldering tasks and electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or subassemblies in accordance with IPC/EIA J-STD-001 requirements.What You'll Do:Prepares soldering and assembly work by reviewing instructions and blueprint specifications and comparing boards with actual designs and documentsPopulates PCB based on work instructions, assembly drawings and bills of materialAssembles components by positioning parts and subassemblies, examining connections for proper fit and fastening parts and subassembliesCleans PCBs and assemblies throughout process and after completionInspects all assembly work to ensure that all applicable requirements are metSigns off on the traveler, dates and enters quantity, scans out jobPerform other job duties as neededWhat You'll Bring:Ability to fluently read, write and speak EnglishHand soldering experienceAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work well under pressureAbility to use various assembly tools including microscopeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities20/20 correctable vision in one eyeMust be able to work 1st Shift (7:30am - 4:00pm)Education and Experience:High School Diploma, GED or comparable industry experience (Preferred)1 year assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)Experience with soldering and assembly of military components (Preferred)Please note that in addition to prolonged sitting, the work environment requires repetitive hand motion such as handling, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity.Schedule:1st Shift available (7:30am - 4:00pm)Monday to FridayOvertime and Weekends as requiredJob Type: Full-time
