FaceUp is a B2B SaaS Compliance and Ethics platform headquartered in Prague, with a US entity and customers primarily in the United States, the Middle East and Europe. Since 2017, we've been building trust and transparency in organizations worldwide - from schools tackling bullying to big companies and public institutions strengthening compliance and ethical culture. We serve compliance managers, HR leaders, and ethics & compliance teams who need a trusted reporting channel and a workflow to manage investigations. Today, our cloud-based B2B SaaS platform serves 3,500+ organizations across 70 countries.
We are hiring a Solution Architect based in the East Coast , to bring deep technical expertise to our Sales team , supporting larger and technically complex deals. You'll partner with our Account Executives and Account Managers, bringing the technical knowledge that helps close deals, deliver smooth onboardings, and drive expansion - bridging Sales, Customer Experience, and R&D.
A quick note, because the title means different things at different companies: this isn't a platform, cloud, or software engineering role.
The challenges that await you:
Technical Pre-Sales & Discovery
Partner with AEs on complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles
Lead deep technical discovery and deliver customized demos and solution briefings that tell FaceUp's differentiated story to both technical buyers (IT, security, tech management) and non-technical ones (Compliance, HR, management)
Technical Evaluations & Live Solution Design
Scope and run technical evaluations (POCs) for large customers
Design workflows and technical setup, configure and prototype live solutions
Validate API and architecture fit (REST APIs, webhooks, SaaS integration patterns)
RFPs & Technical Proposals
Respond to RFPs and RFIs, build and leverage AI tools to complete them efficiently
Own the technical solution proposal end-to-end, including security and technical aspects
Explain technical architecture in terms non-technical stakeholders understand
Onboarding & Expansion
Onboard larger customers with a smooth handover to AMs
Build reusable activation assets (setup flows, integration templates, self-serve onboarding materials etc.) for scale
Support AMs on technical expansion opportunities
Product Liaison & Technical Education
Act as the liaison between Customer Facing teams and R&D - channel customer requirements and feedback into R&D team
Educate internal stakeholders on the technical topics
We would like to see you apply if:
You have 3-5+ years in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture/engineering role in B2B SaaS.
You know how to lead a deep technical discovery, uncover customers’ pain points, and qualify technical fit.
You have experience owning the solution design - workflows, architecture, solution proposals..
You have at least basic knowledge of API and integrations and can configure and prototype live solutions.
Dealing with RFPs/RFIs is nothing new to you, you know how to answer, know when to be a diplomat and when to push back.
You have run many technical evaluations (POCs) and demos, you know how to tailor your message and can credibly navigate different audiences (tech, non-tech, leadership, HR, Compliance etc.).
You are able to simplify complex ideas and explain technical product capabilities in a way that communicates value to non-technical stakeholders.
You have proven experience onboarding large customers at scale.
You have a builders mindset, take ownership, and enjoy solving business challenges.
Domain knowledge in whistleblowing, compliance, or a related regulated space is a big plus.
