Solution Architect - Oversight/Pre-Sales TierPrincipal Solution Architect | Role Overview:This position will help lead the next stage of our data modernization, AI, and client solution architecture efforts. This role sits at the intersection of solution strategy, technical leadership, client engagement, and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep experience architecting enterprise-grade data platforms, strong credibility within the Snowflake ecosystem, and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, high-value technical solutions. This person will play a key role in shaping solution direction across pursuits and engagements, elevating architecture standards across the firm, mentoring consultants, and helping create repeatable assets that strengthen both delivery quality and go-to-market effectiveness. This is a leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably in front of executive stakeholders, guide medium to high complexity engagements, and balance strategic solutioning with practical execution.Key Responsibilities:Own the technical pre-sales process for new logo prospects as well as existing accounts from introductory meetings through post-sales handoff to deliveryDesign, Develop and provide support on pre-sales proof of conceptsBe a key player in helping to further develop GTM strategy, and service offerings as well as clearly articulate and become a subject matter expert on existing services including Snowflake Platform expertise, Data Science and GenAI use case development and accelerator delivery, Data Migration & Modernization, Data Strategy & AI Readiness workshops, and Managed ServicesAbility to help establish and grow our new and existing customer relationships through strategic Snowflake experience, networks, relationships, and communities.Help grow market influence, brand messaging, and public presence at conferences, roundtables, QBR's, industry specific speaking events, etc.Work closely with Sales and Delivery on establishing and writing Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables, as well as designing and developing internal accelerators and tools to increase project delivery expertise and timeframes.Translate complex business requirements and use cases into complete data engineering solutionsMentor team members on best practices in data architecture, modeling, and technology. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in all things data for solution design and deliveryKey Qualifications:10+ years of Solutions Architecture & Data Engineering experience in architecting, building, and supporting modern Enterprise Data PlatformsExperience defining solutions and scoping activities on large complex data solutions for enterprise organizationsPrior experience in technical presales specific to the Snowflake ecosystem with proven strong technical skills, business acumen, stakeholder engagement, creating and helping close revenue opportunities, up-sell/cross-sell motions, and pre-sales solution design with a sales-driven mindsetEnterprise/Production implementation experience with AI solutions and delivery use cases.Executive communication skills, including proven experience working with key stakeholders and enterprise customersAble to travel 25% (typically 1-2 day trips as part of the sales process).
