Job description

ScaleFlux helps AI data center, enterprise and edge customers harness explosive data growth as a competitive advantage to scale the AI data pipeline. Our SSD controllers, storage solutions and CXL memory controllers are engineered to eliminate the memory and storage bottleneck in AI data infrastructure, delivering better performance, efficiency, security, and scalability than the traditional NVMe SSDs. ScaleFlux works closely with hyperscalers, Enterprise OEMs, Neocloud, module manufacturers, and ecosystem partners.

Position Summary

ScaleFlux is looking for a Solutions Architect to serve as the technical bridge between our engineering organization, our customers, and the broader industry ecosystem. This is a customer-facing, high-visibility role spanning the full sales and adoption lifecycle from early technical evaluation through post-sales deployment support, while also representing ScaleFlux's technology externally through partnerships, publications, and industry engagement.

You'll work cross-functionally with product management, firmware/hardware engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure customers understand, adopt, and succeed with ScaleFlux's storage solutions built to align with AI data infrastructure, and that ScaleFlux's technical story is well told across the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Customer Engagement (Pre-Sales + Post-Sales)

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers throughout the evaluation, qualification, deployment, and support lifecycle.

Lead technical discovery, solution scoping, and proof-of-concept engagements to match customer workloads to ScaleFlux solutions aligned with AI data infrastructure.

Provide hands-on post-sales support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning guidance to ensure successful customer deployments.

Engineering & Customer Tools

Partner with engineering to build, maintain, and improve internal and customer-facing tools (benchmarking, diagnostics, configuration utilities) that streamline evaluation and support.

Translate customer and field feedback into engineering requirements and tool improvements.

Technology Partnership, Technical Forum Engagement, Blogs

Represent ScaleFlux in technology partner engagements and joint solution development with ecosystem partners.

Actively participate in relevant technical forums, standards bodies, and community discussions.

Author technical blog posts that showcase ScaleFlux's technology, use cases, and engineering depth.

Represent ScaleFlux at industry conferences and events through speaking sessions, booth demos, and customer meetings.

Design and deliver compelling live and virtual product demonstrations for prospects, customers, and partners.

Solution Briefs, Product Documentation, White Papers, App Notes

Author and maintain solution briefs, application notes, white papers, and product documentation that clearly communicate technical value to both technical and business audiences.

Ensure documentation stays current with product releases and evolving use cases.

Thought Leadership & Product Initiatives

Contribute technical insight and field perspective into product roadmap and go-to-market planning.

Establish ScaleFlux and yourself as a recognized voice in NVMe, storage, and AI data infrastructure through published content, speaking engagements, and community involvement.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, application engineering, field applications engineering, or technical customer-facing role within the storage, SSD, memory, semiconductor, or AI data infrastructure industry.

Strong understanding of NVMe/SSD architecture and / or system level architecture and enterprise/data center storage workloads.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business audiences.

Experience writing technical documentation (solution briefs, app notes, white papers, or blogs).

Excellent presentation skills, with experience delivering demos and speaking at technical conferences or forums.

Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with SSD controllers, flash storage systems, or AI data infrastructure solutions.

Familiarity with the Open Compute Project (OCP) or other relevant industry standards bodies.

Experience with Linux systems, storage benchmarking tools, and scripting/automation.

Prior experience supporting hyperscaler, cloud, or enterprise data center customers.

A track record of published technical content in storage, semiconductors, or data infrastructure.
