Job Description Job Description Johnny Manhattans is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our 27 year established high-volume fine dining restaurant with a strong and growing reputation. This exceptional opportunity offers a compensation package significantly above what is typically offered for comparable Sous Chef positions in our market, along with one of the most desirable schedules in the industry to provide an outstanding work-life balance. Five day work week as restaurant is closed Sunday and Mondays and all major holidays. Open for dinner service only. Duties
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth and teamwork
Previous Sous Chef or comparable leadership experience
Skilled in team management, leadership, and shift management.
Deep understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food service management strategies
Strong culinary skills in cooking, food preparation, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for managing teams and coordinating with front-of-house staff
Ability to lead and work effectively with the kitchen team
