Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Sous Chef/Line Cook plays a crucial role in a luxury 5-star dining establishment, supporting the Head Chef in delivering specialty cuisine. This position involves preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, managing inventory, and collaborating closely with a team to ensure exceptional food presentation and service. The role requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including occasional nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook specialty cuisine dishes to high standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Manage kitchen inventory and supplies efficiently
Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members under the Head Chef's guidance
Assist with food plating and presentation to meet luxury dining standards
Adhere to kitchen safety and hygiene protocols
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years experience in culinary arts
Proficient in food preparation and knife skills
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices
