About This Role
The Sp Unit Staff RN in Labor & Delivery provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule: Part-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Serve as a leader of the healthcare team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
Discuss patient findings and progress with the healthcare team.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
Mentor and coach others in unit-specific operations.
Requirements
Education
Registered Nurse License (California)
Experience
1-year recent experience in Labor & Delivery or completion of a KP L&D course within the last 12 months.
Licenses & Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate required at hire or within 12 months
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
