Job description
Carle Health is seeking an SPD Tech to support safe, high-quality patient care through the cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments. In this role, you will operate sterilization equipment, follow strict infection prevention standards, maintain accurate records, and manage instrument inventory for surgical and procedural areas. You will collaborate closely with nurses and surgical teams, follow all regulatory guidelines, and help troubleshoot equipment issues while contributing to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
