Job description
Paraprofessional – Special Education
The job of "Paraprofessional – Special Education" is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of students enrolled in a special education curriculum, and assisting teachers with clerical duties.
Requirements / Qualifications

Knowledge of: • Appropriate policies, procedures, practices, laws, codes, etc. • Basic instructional/office equipment and materials • English in both written and verbal form • Intervention techniques for emergency situations • Problem solving techniques • Rules of grammar, punctuation and spelling • Basis technology skills desired.

Copy of Transcript (48-semester units of Core Academic Studies, OR hold an Associates degree)
Letter of Introduction (Letter of Intent)
Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Letters issued within the last year -letters must be dated)
Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma or GED)
