Job description
Special Education Paraprofessional
Ashley Schools is looking for an eager, self-motivated, interested and skilled person to join their team. The paraprofessional position involves extensive individual interactions with general and special education students. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with general education teachers, special education teachers and special service providers.
Qualifications
Highly qualified as required by the MDE, including at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Completed or willingness to complete Work Keys testing
Certified or willingness to be certified in CPI, First Aid and CPR
Maintain confidentiality
Ability to provide educational support to students
Ability to communicate effectively
Compensation: Hourly rate of pay $10.50-$13.50 commensurable on experience.
Hours: 7:40 a.m.-3:05 p.m. Paraprofessional will follow the district student calendar.
