Job description
Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Boulder, CO, earning up to $58 per hour. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs and implementing individualized education plans. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits to impact student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to support students with diverse special needs
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies
Manage classroom environments fostering positive behavior and student engagement
Support peer mentors, paraeducators, and collaborate with BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and Psych/SW teams
Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or related field
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in progress or current
Minimum 1 year of classroom experience in a school setting
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Ability to support students with diverse needs
Background check and compliance with facility policies
