Special Education Teacher
** Multiple Openings | Immediate Need ** Location: Dearborn, MI Area Pay Rate: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour (DOE) Duration: School Year

Position Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Utilize data-driven instructional practices and behavior management strategies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Maintain compliance with district policies and special education requirements.
Qualifications
Required
Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
Experience developing and implementing IEPs
Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Preferred
Previous experience working in K-12 special education settings
Experience supporting students with a variety of learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs
Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral interventions
Compensation & Benefits
