Job description

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (SPED), with a focus on middle school (MS) level preferred

Proficiency in developing and executing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, support staff, and fellow educators
Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to handle classroom challenges

Core Responsibilities: Design and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs and IEP goals

Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
Employ positive behavioral interventions and supports to encourage student engagement
Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievements and areas of growth
