Job description

Key Qualifications and Experience:
Hold valid Special Education Teacher certification
Experience working with elementary-aged students (preferred)
Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and best practices in special education
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and interventions for students with varying abilities in an IRR (Interrelated Resource Room) setting
Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and achievements
Maintain accurate records and ensure IEP compliance
Foster an encouraging, respectful classroom culture where all students feel valued
