Job description
Wake County Public School System seeks a Special Education Teacher, Extended Content Standards, to provide specialized instruction for students with significant disabilities in a large, diverse district. Based in Raleigh, NC, this role designs and delivers standards-based instruction aligned to NC Extended Content Standards, develops and manages IEPs, and uses data to monitor progress. The teacher collaborates closely with families, related service providers, and school teams, contributing to WCPSS’s student-centered, equity-focused culture and engaging in ongoing professional learning and collaboration.
