Special Education Teacher
Empower students to reach their fullest potential in a nurturing, dynamic educational setting as a Special Education Teacher. Qualifications
Valid Special Education Teaching certification
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
Experience working with students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
Familiarity with IEP processes and data-driven instruction
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passionate about fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver personalized instruction that aligns with students' unique strengths and challenges
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student growth
Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with school policies
Encourage student engagement, independence, and social-emotional skills
Participate in professional development and departmental meetings
