Job description

Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
Experience with IEP development and implementation
Strong knowledge of instructional strategies tailored for diverse learners
Genuine commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, support staff, and fellow educators
Primary Responsibilities: Create and adapt lesson plans to fit students' specific educational needs and abilities
Assess student progress, track data, and adjust instructional techniques accordingly
Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages peer engagement and academic achievement
Provide ongoing support, interventions, and accommodations as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation for student files
