Job description
Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Avondale, AZ. Responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans to support students with special needs. Earn competitive pay up to $57 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Create and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning requirements
Monitor and assess student progress regularly
Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to optimize student success
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
Arizona state teaching certification in Special Education or equivalent credentials
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher
Proficiency in classroom management, IEP development, and student engagement
Ability to work day shifts, pass background checks, and meet physical demands of a school setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
