Special Education Teacher - Washington, DC
LiriCare is hiring a full-time Self-Contained Special Education Teacher to support preschool and pre-K students at a public charter school network in Washington, DC. You will implement Individualized Education Programs for three- and four-year-olds in inclusion, push-in, and pull-out settings, using the network's research-based early childhood instructional model. The role carries both instructional and case management responsibility, including annual IEP development, progress documentation in SEDS, and IDEA compliance activities. You will work closely with general education teachers in a consultative capacity, integrating research-based interventions through the Response to Intervention model, and partner with related service providers, social workers, and families to keep students progressing toward their goals.
