Special Procedures Technologist
Florence, SC 29501 Full-Time
A leading healthcare organization in Florence, SC is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging and interventional team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with a variety of special procedures including fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, and other advanced imaging studies
Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality
Position and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Administer contrast agents as directed and monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and imaging results
Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT(R) certification required; advanced specialty certifications preferred
Current South Carolina licensure (or eligibility)
BLS certification required
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience in fluoroscopy or interventional procedures preferred
