Job Description
Job Summary
The College of Arts & Sciences is in need of a Special ProgramAid that can assist the college, its departments, and faculty withresearch and development (writing) of grants and degreeproposals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the College of Arts & Sciences,and its departments and faculty, with research and development(writing) of grants and degree proposals.
Responsible for working in collaboration with the Office ofResearch and Sponsored Projects in researching grant opportunitiesfor external funding relating to, but not limited to, research,equipment/infrastructure, programmatic, scholarships, training andeducation, and degree program offering.
Additional duties include review of assessment reports andprogram reviews and, assisting faculty with manuscriptssubmissions.
Minimum Requirement
Education : Bachelor's degree from an accrediteduniversity.
Experience : No experience required.
May not be currently enrolled as an undergrad student at TexasA&M International University.
Preferred Requirement
Master's degree from an accredited university.

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Ability to interact professionally with university faculty,staff, students, and the general public
Ability and desire to learn new skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a group setting
