Ford Charging is a new global business within Ford Customer Service Division committed to home and commercial customer productivity. Ford Charging delivers a work-ready suite of vehicles, products, and services for virtually every vocation, backed by technology, and engineered for uptime. A true one-stop shop, offering a full portfolio of electrified and internal combustion vehicles designed to integrate seamlessly with the Ford Charging ecosystem, helping customers' businesses thrive today and into the new era of electrification.

In this position...

Your primary role is to develop and implement value proposition data and performance improvement strategies to support the feasibility and effectiveness of Ford Charging operations needed to manage the resources and business outcomes for electric vehicle chargers and related hardware. We are looking for someone excited to join the Ford Charging team and create solutions to support our home and commercial Electric Vehicle customers. The ideal candidate can prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

What you'll do...

Partner with management to design and measure continuous process improvement work that integrates strategic and financial plans

Oversee operations team efficiencies, including but not limited to technical planning and backlog management, and reporting and compliance delivery

Ensure alignment of revenue optimization and operational process initiatives with goals and objectives and in accordance with sales, inventory, supply and customer metrics

Conduct process mining and assess value streams for new workflows and programs

Prepare quality and performance assessment documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, process improvement value‑adds, stability studies, corrective actions, and re‑validations.

Enhance team and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value and improving existing and new monitoring tools and tracking capabilities.

Develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders

Act as senior resource and gap-filling capacity for operating workflows and data collection

Lead annual internal compliance audits

This role is hybrid – with 4 days in office per week. Candidate should be based in SE Michigan.

You’ll have...

Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years’ experience in operations, product management, analytics, system dynamics, quality assurance or a relevant business role

Strategic planning and improvement experience, and advanced business process development

Data-driven approach to decision making with strong data modeling, reporting & metrics experience

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on products and processes that are part of a rapidly evolving, nascent market

High integrity

Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work autonomously

Extremely organized with great attention to detail

Master's Degree

Preferred Requirements:

Knowledge of vehicle electrification and charging solutions

Experience with Jira, SharePoint and Salesforce (or similar system) automations and integrations

Knowledge of lean and kaizen methodologies

Computer science, data science or advanced process engineering degree or mid-career experience

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8 and ranges from $84,480-$166,200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
