Specialist, Electrical Engineer – Digital Hardware Engineer
L3Harris is seeking a dedicated Digital Hardware Engineer to join our team in Palm Bay, Florida. Responsibilities:
Develop digital circuits for data acquisition and computing systems.
Generate specifications and select components for high-speed digital circuit design.
Conduct simulations and analyses to support PWB layout and integration testing.
Design mixed signal technology circuits including A/D, D/A, processors, I/O communication, and programmable logic (FPGA, CPLD).
Utilize schematic software for circuit card designs, including schematic capture and timing analysis.
Work independently to generate digital CCA design solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Skills:
Experience with high-speed memory and network interfaces and protocols.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of high complexity digital design techniques and devices.
Proficient in hardware debugging and operation of signal generators, logic analyzers, and digital oscilloscopes.
