nAs a Specialist, Market Operations, you'll provide frontline operational support across two exchanges: the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit. This team runs 24/7, keeping trading, clearing, and connectivity systems healthy for clients and internal stakeholders. You'll troubleshoot issues in real time, coordinate cross-functional resolution for complex problems, and execute deployment testing to protect production environments.
nWhat you'll do:
nnnOwn real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit.

nnInvestigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.
n
nnProvide front-line support for internal and external investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
n
nnCoordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments.
n
nnSupport onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE.
n
nnIdentify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth.
n
n nRequired Skills and Experience:
nnnBA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field, with 1+ years of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
n
nnDemonstrated product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options, including hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution.
n
nnProven ability to diagnose and articulate complex technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
n
nnExperience delivering multi-channel support (voice, email, chat) with documented ability to maintain quality under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
n
nnFamiliarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, or CRM tools such as Salesforce and JIRA is a plus.
n
nnUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
