Job description
The LPN provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse.
They ensure professional accountability for patient care and coordinate with other departments to deliver effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments and implement care plans.
Maintain licensure and certifications, including BLS and other unit-specific credentials.
Assist with patient mobility, lifting, and repositioning, adhering to physical demands.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care and safety.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
Current LPN licensure and valid CPR certification.
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
Preferred certifications include IV certification within one year of hire.
