About the Opportunity
A leading specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in South Florida is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and help guide the continued growth of its multidisciplinary specialty team.
This role is ideal for a board-certified specialist or experienced emergency veterinarian interested in combining clinical work with hospital leadership. The Medical Director will play a key role in mentoring veterinary teams, maintaining high medical standards, and supporting the hospital’s long‑term development.

Critical Care
Internal Medicine

The hospital offers advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including:
I-131 therapy ward
Advanced endoscopy and fluoroscopy
Male and female cystoscopy
Interventional radiology

The Role
The Medical Director will:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the hospital
Mentor specialists, emergency clinicians, and medical teams
Collaborate closely with hospital leadership and practice management
Help maintain high medical standards and patient outcomes
Support team development and hospital growth initiatives
Leadership training and mentorship resources are available to support continued development in medical leadership and hospital management.

Experience & Skills Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
Board‑Certified Veterinary Specialist or experienced Emergency Veterinarian
Eligible for or currently holding a Florida veterinary license in good standing prior to start date
DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
