nWe are currently seeking a Full Time Specialty Pharmacist to join our growing team at Lee Health Specialty Pharmacy in Estero, FL. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, uphold regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional service to patients and staff.

nPharmacy Location: Located within Lee Health Specialty Pharmacy in Estero, FL

nSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

nPrimary Responsibilities:

nnnReview, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracy

n

nnProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring

n

nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patients

n

nnOversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities, ensuring compliance with USP and hospital standards

n

nnMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug events

n

nnSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflow

n

nnEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirements

n

nRequired Qualifications:

nnnPharmD or BS Pharmacy degree with equivalent and acceptable experience from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)

n

nnActive pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Florida

n

n nPreferred Qualifications:

nnnRetail training

n

nnProficiency in multiple EMR systems such as EPIC, Cerner or Meditech

n

nnProficiency with dispensing systems such as PioneerRx, Willow Ambulatory, QS1, RX30, Computer Rx, etc. along with experience in pharmacy dispensing

n

n nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
