We are currently conducting a search for a full-time Specialty Pharmacist to join a growing team of colleagues at our customer site, Willis Knighton Health, to provide outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to help them achieve improved clinical outcomes.Pharmacy Location: Located within Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LASchedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PMPrimary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracyProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoringCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for specialty patientsMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug eventsSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflowEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirementsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:PharmD or BS Pharmacy degreeLicensed to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Louisiana Ability to become dually licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Texas within 60-90 days of hirePreferred Qualifications:Pharmacy management experienceProficiency in multiple EMR systems such as EPIC, Cerner or MeditechProficiency with dispensing systems such as PioneerRx, Willow Ambulatory, QS1, RX30, Computer Rx, etc. along with experience in pharmacy dispensingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
