Job description

Job Title: Specialty Pharmacist, Operations Manager

Location: Lake Mary, FL

About Neovance:

At Neovance, we're transforming the patient experience by driving better outcomes through compassion, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience partnering with the biopharmaceutical industry, we deliver agile, technology-enabled patient access solutions that help people start and stay on therapy.

Our expertise spans HUB services, patient assistance programs, field reimbursement, nursing, and non-commercial pharmacy-each designed to remove barriers to care and ensure patients receive the therapies they need when they need them.

Guided by our values of Agility, Integrity, Tenacity, Unity, and Quality, we work as one Neovance team to optimize access, enhance adherence, and make a meaningful impact-one patient at a time.

The Opportunity:

At the heart of Neovance's non-commercial specialty pharmacy is a team that processes prescriptions, coordinates patient shipments, and makes sure the right therapy gets to the right patient - on time and without barriers. As Manager, Pharmacy Operations you'll lead that team.

This role sits at the intersection of pharmacy operations and patient coordination - equal parts process leader and people developer. You'll own the accuracy and efficiency of prescription processing, drive the patient outreach that keeps programs running smoothly, and build a team of pharmacy techs, front-end staff, and call coordinators who are proud of the work they do.

If you're a hands-on manager who thrives in a metrics-driven environment, knows how to develop people, and understands that every prescription processed represents a real patient waiting on therapy - we'd love to talk.

What You'll Do:

Prescription Processing & Quality

Oversee all prescription processing functions - including data entry, data verification, third-party processing, electronic prescription processing, and prescriber clarification calls, and escalation and issue resolution

Ensure programs are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.

Monitor processing workflows and implement improvements to reduce errors and increase throughput while balancing operating costs

Patient & Operational Coordination Manage patient outreach for shipment coordination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of therapies.

Meet and exceed quality assurance, and productivity metrics through continuous process improvement.

Identify operational gaps and implement solutions that improve the patient experience and program performance.

People Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and front-end staff

Oversee performance management, training program development, and team accountability.

Build a culture of high performance, ownership, and patient-first thinking across the team.

Develop staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all operational hours.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Licensure PharmD or BS Pharm required; active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida in good standing

Experience 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, or a related healthcare operations environment.

2+ years in a supervisory or management role leading pharmacy techs, call center staff, or similar teams.

Hands-on experience with prescription processing, third-party billing, and electronic prescription workflows

Skills & Attributes Strong people leadership skills - you know how to develop, motivate, and hold a team accountable.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality control.

Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and driving continuous improvement.

Proficiency in pharmacy management software and CRM platforms.

Excellent organizational and communication skills - able to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.

Familiarity with HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory requirements.

Experience with, or hold certification, in Lean Six Sigma operating principles.

Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time, or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Company bonus where applicable.
