nA Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, that brings the energy of style to life with compelling in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. Style Consultants are welcoming and helpful in meeting guests needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room. Ensuring the floor is set full with the right product, accurately priced and signed on the salesfloor with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

nnnOurguest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
n
nnRetail business fundamentalsincluding department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies and basic visual merchandising
n
nnIndustry trends including style, seasonality,and brand differentiation
n
nnSet, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest
n
n nAs a Style Consultant, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
nnnDrive sales and deliver a guest ready floorpad by executing visual standards, inspirational & promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest as needed.
n
nnLeverage store tools to understand sales,inventory ownership, & use to solve & support guest needs.
n
nnSort truck freight, push freightto the salesfloor, and locatemerchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
n
nnSet visual presentations & visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
n
nnMaintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills, manual fills, & merchandising to capacity to create a guest ready floorpad.
n
nnExecute & maintain backroom organization, inclusive of locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, & guest requests.
n
nnRemerchandise presentations as they sell through using remerchandising best practices to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for our guest.
n
nnSupport price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices, inclusive of signing execution.
n
nnMaintain and use the fitting rooms as an opportunity to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
n
nnSupport fulfillment and guest's needs by ensuring merchandise from the fitting room and guest service are worked back out to the salesfloor throughout the day.
n
nnAlways demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
n
nnWork in a safe manner at all times;comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
n
nnSupport guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
n
nnCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
n
nnWhen guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
n
nnThank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
n

nnAbility to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

nnResolve guest questions quickly

nnCapability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

nnClimb up and down ladders

nnScan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures up to 44pounds without additionalassistancefrom others.
n
nnFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
n
nnCapable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
n
nnAbility to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
