About This Role
The Specialty Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, demonstrate quality in clinical practice, and treat all members of the healthcare team with dignity and respect.

What You'll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the healthcare team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand own and team members' scope of practice and upscale issues as appropriate.
Develop and/or contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patients' progress based on the care plan.
Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Chart accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
