Job description
The Specialty Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care in the ICU, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift
What You'll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
Develop and/or contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patients' progress based on the care plan.
Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing processes.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and the health care team.
Practice customer service standards as defined by the service area.
