About This Role
The Specialty Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care in the ICU, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand own and team members' scope of practice and escalate issues as appropriate.
Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
Monitor the patient's progress based on the plan.
Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Document accurately, legibly, and timely.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and the health care team.
Practice customer service standards as defined by the Medical Center.
