nSpurwink Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time position within our Portland Day Treatment Program. The position will offer a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20.
nDUTIES:
nnEvaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
nProvide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
nProvide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
nSupervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.
n nQUALIFICATIONS:
nMaster's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required. Must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving Policy.
