Achieving True Self has an INCREDIBLE opportunity for a talented Speech and Language Pathologist!
nWhat Do ATS SLPs do?
nSpeech Language Pathologists (SLPs) at Achieving True Self (ATS) assists the patient in reaching his or her maximum functional potential through comprehensive assessment and intervention services within The Center of Achievement or other approved locations. Our therapists create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance from the individuals we are fortunate to serve, collect data on their programming targets, and provide comprehensive support to their parents and caregivers, teachers, and other members of their treatment team.
nPay Range: $ 40-$50 per hour for direct, billable hours. $15 per hour for non-billable, indirect hours such as training and onboarding. This is a part time position.
nResponsibilities of a Speech and Language Pathologist include, but are not limited to:
nnnDelivering exceptional customer-focused treatment through ethical interactions.
n
nnWorking to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
n
nnEmphasizes individual motivation and engagement to create the space for ongoing progress.
n
nnCreating individualized assessments and reassessments per deadlines.
n
nnAssessing the family’s and consumer’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.
n
nnMaintaining and completing data collection and treatment records.
n
nnPreparing engaging exercises and activities to use during speech sessions with clients.
n
nnEngage with the community by attending educational presentations, health fairs, and community events, etc, to develop new connections and referrals to facility continuous case growth.
n
nnProviding counseling and consultations for new clients.
n
nnPerforming other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the organization.

n nWhere is ATS Located?:
nThis position would be located in our Center of Achievement located in Abingdon, MD
nOur other centers are located in PA and WV.
nThis position is not a remote position and will require you to be onsite and work some after-school/evening hours as clients schedules require.

nWhat Qualifications Do I Need to Join the ATS Team?
nnnMaster’s Degree required
n
nnSpeech and Language Pathologist License required
n
nnASHA Certification is a plus!
n
nnComfortable working with all age ranges.
n
nnExperience with Autism strongly preferred.
n
nnMust have problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and possess mature judgment.
n
nnCompassionate demeanor, with a strong desire to help clients develop, maximizing their potential and capitalizing on their strengths.
n
nnA drive to be part of an innovative, expanding company with amazing potential for growth
n
nnA valid driver's license with proof of car insurance and a good driving record is required
n
nnSpanish fluency is a plus, but not required
