Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: Kennewick, WA
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Position Type: Contract
Care Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Shift Availability: M-F, 8am to 5pm
Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Speech Language Pathologist (SLPs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Kennewick, WA.This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities
An SLP working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:
Utilize EMRto record patients' medical information and vital signs
Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing needs
Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy based on resident needs and treatment goals
Assess swallowing function and recommend appropriate dietary modifications and swallowing strategies
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and communication strategies
Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and resident outcomes
Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active SLP license
Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
Active and unencumbered WA SLP License
Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
CPR/BLS
Resume
Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
