nJob Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
nLocation: New Albany, IN area
nPosition Type: Full Time or PRN

nJob Description: As a Speech-Language Pathologist in our Skilled Care Facility, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in our residents. Your work will contribute to their overall well-being, ensuring they can communicate effectively, maintain their independence, and enjoy an improved quality of life.
nKey Responsibilities:
nConduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
nDevelop individualized treatment plans and goals.
nProvide therapy and interventions to address speech and language difficulties.
nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
nDocument and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
nEducate and support residents and their families regarding treatment plans and strategies.
nQualifications:
nMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
nValid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in IN.
nCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to CFYs!
nExperience in a skilled care or long-term care setting is a plus.
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
