Job description

This contract position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in a supportive school setting near Austin, TX. Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of speech-language pathologists and educators to deliver engaging, research-based interventions that foster each student's growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Texas
Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and therapy planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities when interacting with students, staff, and families
Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs and goals
Role Responsibilities: Implement speech-language therapy activities as directed by a supervising SLP
Provide direct support to students with communication challenges during scheduled sessions
Assist in the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Track and document student progress, regularly reporting outcomes to the supervising SLP
Support classroom teachers in integrating communication strategies throughout the school day
Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and ongoing professional development
