Job description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and language development working as an SLPA in a dynamic K-12 school setting. Key Qualifications:
Valid, active SLPA license in Florida required
Comfortable traveling between various school locations within the county
Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational teams
Organized, adaptable, and ready to work with students of all ages (K-12)
Your Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language support services to a diverse K-12 student population in multiple schools
Assist supervising SLPs with implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication goals
Maintain accurate records and contribute to documentation and progress monitoring
Use creative strategies to motivate and engage students in both group and one-on-one settings
Travel across assigned schools to deliver services as needed
