Job description
Take the next step in your school-based speech-language career in the Houston area! Onsite contract opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to make a meaningful impact in elementary settings. Multiple openings remain, with immediate needs for SLPs in East Katy and Northwest Katy, as well as maternity leave coverage for the full Spring semester. Work within supportive teams, helping students grow their communication skills.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA required
CCC certification preferred for openings needing 2-5 days/week; Clinical Fellows welcome (full-time/5 days preferred)
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Commitment to onsite services (remote work is not available)
Must be able to provide both therapy and evaluation as part of daily responsibilities (no supervision-only or ARD-only roles)
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to support student goals
Complete documentation and maintain records in accordance with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
Engage in ongoing professional growth and school activities
