Make a difference in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a vibrant educational setting for the school year! This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting the communication growth of K-12th grade students. You'll handle a dynamic caseload, deliver therapy, and ensure thorough documentation-all while developing valuable experience in a collaborative environment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-12th grade students
Strong communication and organization skills
Confidence in delivering therapy under the supervision of an SLP
Comfort with maintaining accurate, timely documentation for student progress
Ability to adapt approaches to meet the unique needs of each child
Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the onsite SLP to implement individualized therapy plans
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across all grade levels
Maintain and update clear records of therapy sessions and student progress
Assist in the preparation of materials and activities for therapy
Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP processes as appropriate
Maintain a professional, positive rapport with students, families, and staff
