Job description

Qualifications & Skills:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active SLPA license/registration in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied student needs and age groups
Key Responsibilities: Implement speech and language therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs
Work with students individually or in small groups to target communication goals
Assist in data collection and progress monitoring for student goals
Prepare therapy materials and document student performance
Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster a positive learning environment
Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing professional development
