Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current SLPA license or certification recognized by the state board
Previous experience supporting speech/language programs in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, educators, and families
Ability to implement speech therapy plans developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
Organizational skills to manage caseloads, document sessions, and track student progress
Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist
Support individualized education plans (IEPs) by working directly with students, helping reinforce targeted skills and strategies
Prepare therapy materials and activities to address students' speech and language objectives
Collect and maintain accurate records of student performance, progress, and session attendance
Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborate with teachers and support staff
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, encouraging student confidence and independence
