Job description
Make a meaningful impact throughout the full school year as a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students’ communication and language development. This contract position offers a full-time schedule in a dynamic educational setting near Winston‑Selam. You'll collaborate with other speech-language professionals and educators dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or certification in North Carolina
Previous experience working in school settings preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to document student progress and assist with therapy planning
Genuine passion for helping children and making learning accessible
Key Responsibilities:
Support Speech‑Language Pathologist in delivering group and individual therapy sessions
Implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs under the supervision of the SLP
Prepare materials and activities to enhance speech and language development
Record accurate documentation of student performance and progress
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing assessments as appropriate
