# Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Norwalk, CA## SLPA Opening in Norwalk, CALooking for a supportive team where you can make a difference for kids? Speech Improvement Center is hiring a **Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)** for our Norwalk location.### About the RoleAs an SLPA in Norwalk, you’ll assist our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by providing therapy to pediatric clients, following each child’s individualized plan and helping track their progress.### Responsibilities* Collaborate with SLPs to conduct speech screenings* Administer and score standardized tests with guidance from the supervising SLP* Carry out personalized treatment plans developed by the SLP* Provide direct therapy targeting communication skills and speech and language goals* Document progress and treatment changes accurately, as directed by your SLP* Participate in team meetings and collaborate with fellow SLPs and SLPAs### Qualifications* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field* Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license* Strong people and communication skills* Able to work independently and as a team member under a licensed SLP**Location:** Speech Improvement Center – Norwalk, CAExplore more SLPA jobs or see all of our clinic locations.**Date Posted:** 09/21/2026**Employment Type:** Full-time**Job Location:** Norwalk-CA**Working Hours:** 9AM-6PM**Base Salary:** $30-$40**SIC Job Category:** SLPA
