Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Two positions: one is bilingual in Spanish, and one is monolingual. Location: San Antonio, TX Employment Type: Full-Time
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in both school-based and home health settings. New graduates are encouraged to apply. This role involves supporting speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Provide direct therapy services to clients in school and home environments
Support assessments and carry out therapy activities under supervision
Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with all state and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the state of Texas
Knowledge of current speech therapy practices and techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
