AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Baltimore City, MD currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join their Special Education team for the remainder of the school year. This position is 35 hours per week and involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs. The SLPA will implement treatment plans, conduct individual and group therapy sessions, assist with documentation and progress tracking, and collaborate with educators and families. Required Qualifications

Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School &bull

tBachelors in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or obtain a certificate (or has met educational requirements for position in state of practice) &bull

tActive Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by state of practice. &bull

tPreferred: ASHA SLPA Certification - C-SLPA &bull

tPrevious experience with Schools, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics preferred &bull

tClear, articulate communication skills &bull

tCompletion of a criminal record and background check
