Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Speech Language Pathologist, you will actively deliver high-quality individual or group therapy sessions targeting specific speech or swallowing deficits.
nEvery day you will prioritize, creating personalized, evidence-based care plans with measurable short and long term functional goals.
nTo be successful in this role, you will coordinate care with doctors, teachers, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
nnnDemonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians hospital departments and the general public.

nnDemonstrates knowledge of teaching and leadership skills including a proficiency for conceptual thinking motivating teaching principles and problem solving.
n
nnDemonstrates advanced working knowledge of the principles standard practices procedures and equipment utilized in the department.
n
nnAbility and willingness to actively participate in departmental and hospital programs.
n
nnDemonstrates self-motivation and ability to achieve results through good organizational skills.
n
nnKnowledge and understanding of pertinent standards and regulations including DHS and The Joint Commission.

n nJob Requirements
nRequired
nnnMinimum of two (2) years clinical experience
n
nnCurrent California State license in Speech Therapy (LIC SLP)
n
nnCurrent AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
n

n$49.78 - $74.05 /hour
