TheraPeds Partners is a Colorado based, therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with our local schools to provide Speech Language Pathology (SLP ) services to PreK-12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment.
This is a full-time and short term, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Castle Rock, CO.
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details
Full Time school schedule 5 days per week
Short-term assignment: January 2027 through May 2027
Elementary through Middle School
Job duties: educational services, case management, evaluations
Guaranteed Hours: including documentation, administrative and planning time
In-person, on campus
Manageable caseloads
Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
$61.50 - $71.75+/hour based on experience and employment arrangement
Requirements
Qualifications Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
National License: ASHA
Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
CF-SLP placement may be available
Experience working with children
Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Organizational and time management skills
Proficient in use of technology
Fingerprint background clearance
Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements
Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
