Job description
Take your Speech-Language Pathology career to the next level supporting young learners for the school year! A full-time contract position is available in a dynamic educational environment serving Pre-K through 5th grade students. As an integral part of the special education team, you'll collaborate with educators and specialists while making a meaningful difference in students' communication and learning journeys.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
ASHA certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
California state licensure (or eligibility)
Passion for working with elementary-aged students
Strong communication and team-collaboration skills
Experience supervising or willingness to supervise SLPAs and participate in virtual care (VOCO) services
Familiarity with educational setting documentation and IEP process is a plus
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations for students Pre-K through 5th grade
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as outlined in IEPs
Provide direct speech-language therapy services on an individual and group basis
Monitor student progress and maintain clear, ongoing documentation
Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
Provide supervisory support to SLPAs and engage in VOCO supervision as needed
Remain flexible to additional responsibilities as discussed during the interview
